We’re pleased to share with you the schedule and resources from the 2016 Youth Philanthropy Connect International Conference. The conference was held July 7-9, 2016 at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® in Anaheim, CA for youth philanthropists (ages 8-21) and the adults who support them. Our youth attendees researched, discussed, and presented grant proposals from local nonprofits. YPC is pleased to announce that full grants of $2,500 each were awarded to GOALS and OCCCO.

Giving Circle Nonprofit Debrief: Discussion & Create Funding Proposals

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

For our youth participants age 8-21, this breakout session will turn into a Giving Circle! There, the youth will be introduced to the grant making cycle and learn from each other’s experiences using different processes. From there, they will work together to create criterion for reviewing the finalists’ proposals to help determine the final grants. More details about grant applicants coming soon!
